can anyone tell me what fly patterns would be effective for west branch Conococheague Creek thanks

Kilroy,
Welcome to the PAFF Beginner's Forum. The stream you describe is a medium sized "freestone" trout stream and is stocked. I'd suggest, for this time of year, that you dead drift basic nymphs (a #14 Hare's Ear for example) and mix in some "junk" flies such as a pink San Juan Worm or a bright orange egg fly. Bright colored streamers such as a white Wooly Bugger might be a good bet too, esp if we get more rain and water levels rise again.

thank you for the infromation
