Looking to upgrade my line for my 4 weight setup. Need something versatile so I'm going with a floating line. Also not looking to spend over 75 unless absolutely necessary. Any recommendations? I only have one setup so I need something that works for most

Rio floating line works very well for me. I have a sinking tip I use if I need to get my nymphs down on small streams. Both together for under 75 bucks. Good luck

I really like textured lines.
Easier to cast and maintain.

They can be pricey.
But if you shop around the internet some, you can find them for under your price line

Textured lines may float a bit higher, but, the noise is irritating and if you have a large fish run hard( like a carp for example) be careful of your fingers or when doing a lot of stripping when running streamers the line can do damage to them

I got used to the noise easily
But my hearing is going….

Cortland 444 peach, will run you about $70 unless you can find it on sale.

It's been around forever and that's not by accident.
