I got a new book at the Somerset show. I usually fish almost exclusively in PA, but last year I tried a stream or two outside of the Commonwealth.

This book, by Beau Beasley, covers streams in PA, DE, MD, WV, VA, NJ. Easy to read maps, local guides, lodging. A great source. I bought it to check out some of the streams in Western MD.

$29.95, great color pictures, detailed illustrations. A book that I will use as a starting point to explore some new stream.

Look for Gfen's picture in the Monocacy review lol

Indeed. I'm also the Monocacy "rookie," which is kinda amusing.

Wow. Picture in a the book. Congrats. Why so little fly line?

Just kidding of course.

I assure you, sir, that was taken in the height of summer and the end of my line had either the Royal MF Wulff or a brown Usual.

I stand in that spot and fish about 4 days out of the week from spring thaw to first snow, and after that its about 3 days out of the week. :)

tree fiddy.
