Fly Fishing Show - Lancaster, 7-8 Mar. 2020

Thank you for the "Heads Up."

I always attend this show. I only live 5 miles away and will be sporting my North Carolina blue in Penn State navy blue country.

That place is the Neptune Diner on Prince Street. I will probably be there sporting North Carolina blue in Penn State country.

I purchased two identical wading staffs for $100.00(both) and a rod holder for my wading belt. This will make wading where I do all of my fishing so much easier.

The real problem was parking. I finally found a parking garage near the convention center. I parked and walked. No problem with that.

When it was time to exit, I put the parking ticket in like instructed followed by my credit card like instructed. Nothing happened. The gate never moved.

I called the number only to get another automated voice message about their Monday-Friday hours, My problem was on a Saturday afternoon. The fence wouldn't open and a line was increasingly forming.

No human being was there to help me and everyone in line waiting to exit was very pissed off at me.

What could I do?

What a way to end the day. I can't exit and everyone behind me is more than pissed off.

The moral of the story is to get there early and find a place to park on the street and not deal with a automated parking garage.

Are you still there? How did it finally resolve itself?

I called the number on my cell phone. Nothing better than dealing with automated voice machine. I did get calls that were from Uber. Eventually someone came and let me out.

By this time there were problems with the other exit lane as well. It was a mess.

The show was fine. I got a pair of matching wading staffs at a good price and a rod holder. I can put all three on my wading belt and feel more confident wading.
