The new North Fork Fly Shop manager, Tim Caudill has been a game changer. His partnership with ORVIS and hand picked team, have created a great experience new and seasoned fly fishing customers. The shop is located on-site at Harmans. With over 40 years of fly fishing passion and national experience, Tim isn't just a guide; he's a walking encyclopedia of the sport. He has more than 17 years of experience leading expeditions across West Virginia's pristine waters, having honed his skills as an educator on the river.
As the best fully-stocked fly shop within 100 miles, it provides everything an angler needs just steps from the water. The shop is now an authorized Orvis dealer carrying a full line of products from the retailer. It also carries additional top brands like Redington, RIO, American Fly Outfitters, Simms, and Fish Pond, offering a comprehensive selection of rods, reels, waders, flies, and more.
Harman's two miles of private access to a trophy trout stream remain the main attraction. Years of careful management have created an environment where beautiful trophy trout thrive, offering anglers the chance at a truly memorable catch. For those seeking guidance, the shop now offers guide services, providing invaluable local knowledge for fishing.
Fall stockings begin in September and continue through November. An fantastic offering of rainbow trout averages 17"-20" in length, with some fish weighing up to eight pounds, providing a fun and special challenge for any angler.
Additional private guiding opportunities in the region are offered out of the fly shop with several outstanding, experienced native West Virginia guides.

Over the past few years, Harman's has added outdoor steam saunas for all guests. The Lux Spa Cabins each offer unique wellness experiences.
