Flathead on a Fly!

Found that flathead pic from the Juniata. It was actually in the photos section from 2013. Going to try to link it here. Based on my comments in the photo, it appears that I didn’t actually “catch” it!
 
Nice Klingy, that is the pic that I remember. That was certainly no monster flathead but I'm sure they haven't been up here that long at that point. Now, 6 years later, I'm sure there are more and larger flatties. I don't think that the upper J will ever produce the monster flatties like we are seeing in the Susky but I guess you never know. I'm guessing ours here will max out at around 25 one or so, still a dang nice fish and I bet those will be a rarity.

I'm not a cattie guy by any means, but when I was a kid catching big catfish and carp was a huge thrill.

It appears flattie fever has taken over wherever they swim in PA and especially in the Susky.

Boats go out at night all rigged up for flatties, not to mention all the anglers fishing from the bank.

It is good to see kids enjoy themselves like many of us did back in the day.
