For the next month or so it's a trout and chub creek down to about the park. After that the trout will move upstream and only be present in decent numbers from the Ravine area and up, but the smallies will become more active from there down. Insect activity isn't as heavy as some local streams, even it's two biggest tribs in this area, the upper and lower little swattie. I usually use streamers and generic nymphs with bead heads(they're not "flash shy" like some creeks). Olive and white are good streamer colors to try. If you have any specific questions, post them here or PM me, either way is fine with me. Let me know when you are getting out and I may be able to walk down the street and join you.
