We will be spending Thanksgiving week in Canadensis and saw that the Brodheads is there. How should that be fishing then -- any other closeby suggestions? My son is fairly new to flyfishing.

Thanks in advance.

The broadhead will be good that time of year but I would also look into the Lehigh or toby or even Mud run for some smaller streams. You might also want to check out Toms creek.

Rattlesnake Run and Mill Run are there and both have public water, use streamers unless you seeactive risers. The Brodhead may fish well that time of the year also, but access is a problem. You have to pick and choose the best access to fish where it is open water. Below Anolomink is probably the best access. There are a bunch of other lesser known streams in the area, but I won't talk about them here.
