I have a Tilley. Paid to much money for it. But the greatest thing is throw it in the washer to clean it. Iit gets washed 5-10 times a season had it for years now.

I wear trucker hats...mainly because my head is big so normal ball-caps look ridonkulous on it. And I appreciate the netting in the back, as it keeps me cool. Plus, I found one w/ sasquatches on it, and well, hey! If I can wear myself on my hat, why not!?
I also have a brimmed hat that I bought several years ago w/ a gift card to BPS. It was all I could find in there that I liked. It's pretty beat to hell, but I still like it, especially on sunny days.

I never owned a trucker hat. Never really cared for them. I'm not sure why. However, I just bought a trucker hat at the Cabin Fever show on Sunday.
You see, last week I was watching a YouTube video of a young man fly fishing. While in the water, he noticed subsurface insects flowing by in the current. He reached up. Grabbed his trucker hat, and used it to seine up insect samples.
Brilliant!!! I had to have one!
