Caught this at my cousin in the pinebarrens of Nj

What is it? I thought it was a weird colored large mouth at first but the mouth was super small

Almost looks like a white perch. Could be some kind of shiner too. I'm not sure, but that's my guess.

They can be aggressive and a fairly large one such as this will certainly eat a streamer.
