First Carp

Last week I finally hooked and landed my first targeted carp on the fly. After losing one last fall and a summer of fishing the LA River with only a few follows, it feels good to finally cross this species off my list. Caught between classes from a pond on the Ithaca College campus after 3 days of stalking, spooking, or losing fish- you can bet I'll be back!
