Can anyone tell me the value on this rod? I do not know the year or the weight rating on it either. Any information will help. It was passed down to me from grandpa.

Usually, I just put a lmgtfy link in there, but I'm too lazy to bother.

There's a ton of information out there on these blanks, too much to reproduce. You should google it yourself and decide.

As to the value, all over the map. It was sold as a blank and made by a hobbyist. It's value is dependant on how ****** of a job they did on it and how much someone wants it.

96 is the length. 7 is the line weight. Little to no collector value. Probably made betweenThe 60's and 70's as a hobbiest blank which is why there is no collector value. My father, now brother, had/has numerous of these type fenwick rods. It's a great serviceable fly rod to use and fish.I routinely see this era fenwick rods at auction. Without cases, sleeves, etc... My guess is the value would be about 25 to 60 bucks with this particular rod at the lower end. I would suggest fishing it.

Dittos on googling it. Plenty of info on fenwick rods.
