Did you color pasts of the wings or is that an illusion of photography?

How do you get the extended body looking so nice? I have been having alot of trouble tying these. Could you give some advice on how to tie these?

Thats a nice link littlelehigh. If I fished dries more I'd definitely experiment with that.

The body on that march brown doesn't look like extended deer hair.

I have made extended bodies by tying in a short piece of stiff nylon - tying a longer tail to it - then dubbing over the nylon.
Makes a flexible extended body that looks pretty nice

I use the needle style, I take different size needles and then spin dubbing and a flexable glue on it. Then i add what ever I want for the tails and then tie in. I make these ahead of time and store them.
