which one is the best for fishing a late evening to sunset ?

are hatches more prevalent on one than the other ?

i was planning to fish Big Spring in the afternoon, go check into the hotel around 5pm then head back out for dusk and the evening rise.

i;m staying in Shippensburg, so either creek is not far away.

definately plan to fish the FSB in the morning before the long drive back east.

cheers

Mark.

Hatches....meh... but this is the time of year I've brought more than one real trophy to the top on hoppers towards the evening on FS.

yeah, i know the hatches are not great on either but i figured that if there was anything that was going to move them fish out from under the weeds, a small hatch might.

they'll still likely be feeding on midges in the drift i know, again i thought a #22 midge under an imitative dry might be the winning ticket.

Not much in the evening except for terrestrials and midges on FSB this time of year. may see just a few caddis

I would try the mousie hatch on BS after dark...

neat idea for the open water, no fishing after dark in the special regs...

I hit a sulphur hatch a couple of times on FSB in May/June that was not to be believed. Right at sunset, dusk-30.

Couldn't do a thing with it, as usual. Maybe I've been over-thinking the process.
