Eastern Pennsylvania is getting some good rainfall. How’s North Central doing?

This should be a good steady rain for the lower 2/3 of the state. Rather welcome actually. A little further north would be good.

Unless you’re in SE PA or right along the MD border the storm has underperformed thus far. Maybe 0.25” so far across most of Central PA. Largely nothing north of I80.

Maybe we’ll pick up as it gets flushed out back to the east.

The NC region, for whatever reason, usually gets the short end of the stick regarding rainfall. It's been like this for a long while.

Philadelphia Airport got 0.88" since 8:00PM last night

Here is how to get this information https://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KPHL.html

Just replace the PHL with the airport code that you want to see the weather observations for the past 3 days, It must be in CAPS. The airport code for HIA is MDT.

Penns Creek gauge has barely moved. Disappointing.

If you're watching the game, you're question is answered.

Valley Creek about.4 inch. We are supposed to get more rain in the next 3 days or so.

Nope.

Sure hope that some of it reaches NEPA. They really need some wetness.

Fished Catskills Wed thru Sat. Not a drop other than a quick passing shower on Wed. Driving home late last night, didn't hit rain until I got around Wilkes Barre. Here in Dauphin, it's been light rain most of the day

Steady rain all day in Southwest New Jersey.

Im in Northeast/central PA, Rickets Glen area, only 1/8" in the rain gauge here, just gray and breezy the last 2 days.
Decent fishing yesterday on fishing creek, streamers worked well.

On iWeather.com, rainfall totals for last 24 to 72 hours -- for 48 hours selected, it shows:
3+ inches in SW Jersey east of Camden
3 inches in philly
1.09 in Reading
2.23 in Greeensburg
0.86 in Pittsburgh
0.90 at State College
0.62 at Colburn
0.48 in Williamsport
0.74 in Slate Run
0.02 in Wellsboro

Just remember those measurements are at specific sites and do not reflect localized rainfall. Ive seen 2 1/2 inches of rain fall in one town in an hour and have a drizzle 15 minute away.
