Echo Streamer X for bass/pike?

I got a great offer on a new echo streamer x 9’8wt. My plan is to fish warm water species here in PA with it. I want to target bass/pike/walleye etc from the shore. I have an aggressive taper 8wt line already. I will be throwing flies 4-8” long. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm surprised no one has commented on this. I don't have first have experience with the type of fishing you intend, but if you haven't seen it, this video is interesting and specific to the Echo Streamer X rod.
