Drift Boat/Trailer for Sale

wbranch,
If I am ever at the ramp and you need help I would graciously help out and not complain about you wasting my precious time. Some people have no respect for anyone else. It is very sad.

I am amazed you still try at 80. My dad is 3 years older and can barley make it off his lazy boy. Keep at it friend!

I must admit if I can't get someone to go with me, especially when I want to fish for smallmouth in my bass boat, it really takes a lot of motivation to get going. Launching is pretty easy but getting a jet drive back on the trailer by yourself is pretty much impossible. I finally bought a pair of hip boats so I could wade out into the river and position the boat over the rollers and winch it back on.

You know I'd also give you a hand getting it on the trailer Matt. The problem is we rarely cross paths because of times or different river.

To clarify, if someone is struggling, I guide their boat on or crank it up for them. If they are standing next to the boat blocking the ramp and talking about dinner.... While not storing the anchor, rods or the oars I will lose it on them. Don't get your boat on the trailer and then sit there for 30 minutes or you're going to have some angry campers behind you. My loading looks like a fire drill 🤣

After reading your earlier post I'm going to make sure we are never on the ramp at the same time! Besides me hearing your wrath and epitaphs you may knock me over, steal my cane, and push me into the river. 😳

I'm not verbally abusive. Just drop a few "heads up, coming through" on the slowpokes 😁. I've witnessed some hostile interactions. Try to stay clear of that stuff

I hope you know I'm just messin' with you.

This is another big steelhead I kept. I had it mounted. At the time I was unaware of replica mounts. Caught it in the Altmar pool on an all chartreuse fly tied on a traditional black up eye #4 salmon hook.

Might want to try a trailer dolly for anyone struggling with maneuvering a trailer around the house. A back saver for sure. I picked up one at harbor freight for around 60 bucks. Makes all the difference.

Thanks Kray, let me know when you will be floating the Delaware and if I'm solo maybe we can get back to the ramp at the same time. I never dawdle.

Earning your stripes means you can show everybody how good you are at doing something. It doesn’t mean you can fart around at the ramp because you think you earned something. Ramp etiquette is is not selfishly behaving as if everybody else’s time is not important.
I get your point but if I see someone who is struggling at the ramp or is "older" and needs a hand isn't necessarily farting around and I do not consider that selfish behavior. I offer to give a hand and help the person out.

Virtually every time I get the trailer into the water to crank the boat back on a stranger will ask me if I want help. I always accept.

Kinda hard to tell from your pictures, and maybe you’ve sold it by now anyway, but is that a standard 16’ low profile (low sided) boat, or another model? (Just asking for clarification, not as a potential buyer.)
