SNJ, Did you report that dead sturgeon to any of the states' fisheries personnel? Records are kept on these mortalities and,from the photo this appears to be a prop or ship strike caused mortality. If you have not reported it, please email a copy of the photo, the date, and as specific of a location as possible to gremurphy@pa.gov

It does look like a prop wound on the back possibly....what river was this? Lower Delaware?
