Diamondback Ideal Nymph Rod

I got the 4 wt for steelhead. It's a great rod. I don't know where it is made. I don't think U.S. I'm hoping Korea. I like the idea of buying products from a functioning democracy. I have an Orvis 3 wt Euro rod. I'd put the Ideal at least even with the Orvis, and the Diamondback is a more handsomely finished rod. If you're looking for another or a new one, I don't have any qualms in the recommendation.

I agree that these are great rods. I use the 10’ 2wt for Euronymphing and even throwing streamers. It’s solid.
