Dead Catfish on Susky

Floated the susky today and last week. Viewed over 30 dead catfish on each trip. Anyone have insight on what is happening?

No haven't had opportunity to ask anyone local. This is from laceyville to pittston. So its a significant area and concerning.

Possibly a fish disease brought on by the weakened post-spawning condition. If that’s the case, it’s no big deal. When they are as abundant as c cats are in the Susquehanna, even a 1% kill is going to look like a big die-off.
