Next Intro-Fishing Get-Together
This Wednesday at 5:30PM

Everyone who came out last time had a great afternoon. New folks got some one-on-one help. Experienced fishers new to our area were taken to special fishing spots by members who have been fishing in the Cumberland Valley for a lifetime.
We hope to see YOU there this Wednesday!

We have two dates scheduled in May for our
Casual Intro/Fishing Get-Togethers.
We welcome adults and children, women and men, members and non-members. These events work best when people new to fishing and those with experience both to come out!
When:
Wednesday evening 5/3 at 5:30PM
Saturday Morning 5/20 at 9 AM
Where:
South Middleton Township Park
534 Park Drive,
Boiling Springs, PA 17007
What to bring:
Some fishing gear if you have some.
A valid 2023 PA Fishing License Buy a Pennsylvania Fishing License (fishandboat.com)
An open mind, some patience, and a sense of humor!
What will be provided:
Instructions on basic gear, rod set-up, some basic fishing strategy, and opportunities for casting practice.
Some extra rods will be available.
Chapter members who are willing to share their experience with you.
A chance to go fishing with someone.
These will be relaxed events, with structured group instruction when appropriate, individual instruction as much as possible, and an emphasis on learning in a positive environment. We start by letting everyone introduce themselves and describe their interests. Then we get out on the water!
PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO LEARN ABOUT AND FISH WITH A VARIETY OF TECHNIQUES: CANE POLES, TENKARA RODS, SPINNING RODS, FLY RODS. Please let us know what you would like to learn about!
