Heading to Nosara, Costa Rica for a wedding this summer. Most of the Google searches show sportfishing from Chater boats for Billfish. I'm just asking if anyone has fly fished from the beach down here ? I imagine tossing clousers would produce something. Will be there for a week.

I've never fished CR so hopefully someone with better experience will chime in. If it were me, I'd look into roosterfish. I don't know if they're in the exact area you'll be frequenting but they are a great game fish and can be caught from shore by FFers.

F-idiot - thanks for the input. I'm probably just trying to talk myself into buying a 9wt set up. I hope I get a chance to stroll the beach down and hook into something like a roosterfish.
