Instagram pics from river snorkeling, with interesting comments about the fish; https://www.instagram.com/river_snorkeling/

I've snorkeled some amazing springs that flowed to the Snake in Idaho. I still snorkel the Sinnemahoning at camp. It's a great perspective.

Wow! that is an amazing video. I was totally blown away by the clarity and the depth of many of the pools. Some had to be over 15' deep and in a river that was not much more than 30' wide in many places. Great view but I'd still rather feel the tug than see them swimming around me.

If anyone is interested, you can fish for salmon, and then go snorkeling down the river to view the salmon, in Campbell River, BC.

I fished there to an early run of Pink salmon several years ago, and then watched a group of snorkelers float by. I didn’t do it myself but it was interesting to watch.

I love the rivers of Central and coastal Oregon. Very beautiful. I am hoping to go back this summer on a tour of Northern Cali and Oregon.

^ My understanding is that the same service (snorkeling) will be provided at Barking Dog on the West Branch since the Stilesville launch is being closed. Maybe K-fish can confirm. :)

I bet they would give a great fight.

Wow that is awesome! Will they be providing the spear guns or do I need to bring my own?
