Clouser Crayfish Recipe...Please

Can someone please give me a recipe for tying a Clouser Crayfish? I had a few Clouser Craws I bought from TCO but they have since all been used and destroyed but they were dynamite and caught me many fish. I knew that Orvis sold them and that they often linked a "fly-recipe" right on their website but it seems that they no longer carry the product either. I also can only find info about the famous Clouser Minnow if I do a YouTube search, so can someone here please tell me how to tie one?

It's not free, but this is easily one of the most detailed fly tying books ever written and photographed. Not a bad investment. I think the crawfish pattern runs 2-3 spreads.

A very simple but effective crayfish pattern can be a wooly bugger with split tails. You can use lead or bead chain eyes to weight the front of the hook add sparkle to the claws with Antron or crystal flash and taper the body anyway you would like. To create the claws just figure 8 wrap the marabou or other tail material prior to wrapping the body forward

I have the Clouser book and really like it. He discusses a few flies in detail, and shows variations and color combinations of each. Clouser s explains reason he believes the patterns are successful and ways to fish each. It's an easy read that I refer to occasionally, but a solid one with patterns that catch fish.
