I’ve been doing some searching on the interwebs of a Cliff’s bugger barn box diy. I found some identical boxes but clear and figured I would get foam from a craft store. Make a mold and cut the slits in the foam. I love my Cliff’s bugger box but not the price. $50 is a lot for a piece of plastic and some foam. I think I could build one myself. Anyone else look into this or have done it? Just looking for others’ input to kick some ideas around.

The Bugger Barn is $26.50 on Amazon.

Do you mean the Bugger Beast? If so, I bought an Aventik Streamer Box for $30 which I believe is very similar. It comes with three pieces of foam to choose from. You can install two. I made a panel from 1/4" PVC that fits inside and attached the third piece of foam to that for more carrying capacity.

Here's mine. I use it to store surplus and time specific patterns that I move in and out of my working boxes.
