I got into a good bit of them a couple times in Tuscarora SF fishing small streams in 2021. I fished an actual Cicada pattern for a little while the one day, and it was fun watching them try to eat it, but the hookup ratio was like 1 in 20. Switched to a generic Wulff or Humpy or something like that that I’d normally use and they hit that just as well, and I hooked a much greater percentage of them. Brookies…ain’t the sharpest tools in the shed.
