OK Eunan, I checked your blog post wherein you write:

I hope to someday tie a salmon fly but right now I'm still struggling with a hare's ear nymph. I mean did you really have to say a quick fly tied in hand.....lol.

 
They never used to be quick!! The one in the vise has been there for 3 weeks already.
 
I wonder how those types of bass wet flies were fished.

For largemouth? smallmouth? In lakes or flowing rivers?
