Catskill Jam All Good Things Come to Those Who Wade

I don't float the delaware when I go there.
And disagree that wading limits the amount of water you can fish.
There are plenty of access spots that I can keep hopping around to, and looking for rising fish. And sooner or later, I usually do find them.
IMO, floating can limit you in a way.
Once you commit to floating a certain section of river - you're stuck there for the day.
If the fishing is lousy - or the weather turns nasty - you pretty much have to continue with your planned float.

Phil,

If there was a tagged fish from the lehigh caught in the Delaware, it fell out of Shan'ts creep. LOL

Bill,
You are 100% right. I spent 20 years , tank after tank of gas and wasted too many hours jumping around chasing hatches. I know for a fact that I've put 125 miles on in one day (upper WB - Beaverkill - lower EB- main stem - WB). Don't desire that crap anymore. I put in and take my lumps. No more second guessing or driving all day chasing a ghost.
