catfishing lake galena

I know its a fly fishing forum and most of the fish on the forum are trout,but my brothers really into catfishing and we heard lake galena had a nice channel cat population although we are pretty inexperienced on big lake catfishing all we usually do is fish ponds/small lakes with good success but we wanna try some bigger water if anybody has any tips or rigs that would be a big help

I swear to god that I caught a ton of cats at lake galena on cut up hotdogs from the snack bar. A big ball of night crawler rigged on a slip sinker set up works good too.

Used to fish from about 10pm till 3or 4 in the morning
