canoe trips

well, i am almost done my canoe trips

the Clarion River (late june) didnt fish well but it is sure nice.
the Sinemahoning (mid july) was low caught a few and saw alot more... water was gin clear and lowwwww. the bass spooked by the canoe
The Juniata(last week of june) was ok...we caught some small ones... didnt see any big fish...the white flies were sporatic.
Pine creek(late may) did not fish well... i am sure it is low.

All in all some of the most beautiful parts of the state!
I am most likely going to skip the Delaware and do an Andirondacks canoe and camp in September...

Which section of the j did u canoe? my brothers and me are canoeing from spruce creek on the little j down to newton hamilton on the big j. never fished the big j before and couldnt find many fishing reports for that section,is that section mainly a bass fishery?

Yes.
There are sporadic trout throughout much of the Juniata river from Huntington down to the mouth but in my experience they're far too few to target and definitely won't be around this summer.
