Cabelas and Backorders

Since I'm starting late, I wanted to get some stuff from Cabelas, but practically everything I want is backordered (I haven't placed an order yet, just checking stuff out).

Anyone else have this happen? How does it take to ship stuff out? Should I try somewhere else?

I don't have an answer for you on ship time but I can tell you it's been like that since well before Xmas. I usually do a lot of business with them for hunting gear and a little fishing stuff. Doesn't seem to matter what your looking for it's always backordered.
