this will be the last for tonight. bill, as we all new him, without question was way beyond the times. he had what you needed when you needed it. his bronze blue dun necks to ty the gordons and Hendrickson's are gone. it was a magical mix. I have not seen bill since the last time I saw and fished on muncy creek several years ago. bill , basically was the person that involved me in fly tying when I was in grade school. they don't do it now but in the late 60's fly tying and hunter safety was a big deal. bill spent numerous hrs. teaching the art of fly tying.. I remember a boy scout event when bill was teaching fly tying and a scout asked him to ty a royal coachman. he did, I was so absorbed in this procedure, I had to do it too. bill is also responsible for delivering me from evil and escorting me to his angels. bob rinn, bruce smay, bob mccollough, don bastian---best you would ever believe, fly tyer. carrie stevens rangley streamers, ray bergman wets,a true world class fly tyer. he is on the web. DON BASTIAN FLIES. dave Rothrock nymph man extrodinaire. numerous men from tu and beyond. it is of great pleasure to admire bill with his graceful personality, his lust for the sport of fishing and virtue for giving his all.
