Brook trout and mushroom hunting

It’s that time of year again. Morel mushroom hunting, ramps and brook trout!

I went out this morning with the intention of focusing on the first two things but was pretty unsuccessful so I ditched my efforts midday and moved onto brook trout.

I was rewarded with some beautiful specimens and thought I would share with everyone. Oh and I have yet to fish a stocked stream yet this year and it just might stay that way!

I'm usually out digging ramps while fishing at this time of year.
But stuck in the burgh now.

Fortunately, I started transplanting some into the woods around my house.
And have been digging a few here.
