Bots for Korker sandals

I'll be doing a lot of FF off of jetties this year. Fishing jetties I normally wear rain pants, surf top when the water is rough. I started off wearing old felt sole wading boots with the Korker's, But I don't care for wearing waterproof socks. I then went to a rubber below the knee deck boot, but they hurt my feet after awhile and give no ankle support. I' thinking of going with a waterproof boot, hiking , ect. Would this be a good boot for the Korkers, What do you all wear. Thanks.

You need jetty spikes, they are like a sandal that will fit over many different shoes

Thanks, But the problem is not with the Korker slip on's. It is with the boots. Rubber boots give no ankle support, Wading boots leake. Just was wondering how waterproof boots would hold up for the salt.
