What length boot stud do you recommend? I tried 3/8 but they popped out. Even used Gorilla Glue on screw thread before putting in. Is 1/2 inch too long? Or is it my Simms boots?

I use Grip Studs for my boots and they have worked well. They have a guide on what studs to use for each brand/model of boot.
