These were done with Birchwood Super Blue. But I use others as well there are a bunch of good ones on the market but if I'm out I can get Birchwood a Walmart

They're going to look real sweet then. Please share pictures when you got them on. I got a thing for blued hardware on bamboo, not that I don't like shiny nickel silver ferrules

Working on 2 8wts. One is going to be wrapping with antique gold( 1st coat of varnish) and the other in Chinese red both topped with black and will be translucent. The wife (Amy) said I was moving to Jacksonville in 5 year so I have to start building some bigger rods.
