Wow! Now there'd be a real likelyhood of gettin spooled. 
Those fish certainly look like bluefin tuna from what I can see in the video. While I have never personally seen BFT from the beach, they do show up close to shore from time to time and surf guys do occasionally catch 'em.

One year i was supposed to be in hatteras but was in the hospital recouping after my heart surgery when I heard from a guy that there bluefin tuna eating 35 lb. stripers on the beach. I have small ones at I.B.S.P. up to 40 lbs. but one big enough to eat a big bass is just unreal..12wt. is always ready to go..
