OP says he switched from Frog's Fanny to this but this looks like a gel floatant to me and I can't believe there is any gel floatant that will work on cdc.

Yeah, I'd have trouble thinking gell floatants would work on CDC too. But I use very little CDC, personally.

I have not tried it on cdc. I don't think it will work. I don't fish many cdc flies other then using it for trailing shucks that I do not put any floatant on.
