Dusting off the tubes for the first time in 2016, it was also my Son's maiden voyage in a donut as well. Once he got the kick down he was rolling.

That looks like Hudson Lake at the Salem Sportsmens Club in NJ.
I'm a member there and there and it has a few good crappie spots

I use to see guys belly boating across the Missouri in Montana-thought they were better men then I but that's not saying much.lol

I fished the Yakima in Washington a few times years ago, in a donut. It wasnt bad, but there are risks. You come around the corner looking at a big sweeper, and youre in a tough spot. We were able to drive and view the stretch we were floating.

I've never used a float tube but uve certainly thought about it. Looks like fun.
