I have been having problems with some beads not going all the way to the eye of the hook. I have been matching the sizes to the hook sizes but sometimes the bead will get stuck at the bend of the hook. Any tips?

Go to the next size bigger bead.

Is it something like caddis/pupa shaped hook? Sometimes those just need a little persuasion and the bead will slip right up.

The next size larger bead will work. Also, scud hooks are a larger gape (gap) for their size than standard nymph hooks and smaller beads slide on a little easier.

The first thing I realized with beads are the bead charts are way off on what works and what looks good.

here is the rule I apply and haven't had any problems with any type hooks except some of the mustad curved caddis hooks but a little persuasion has got them where they needed to be.

#20 1/16"
#18 5/64"
#16 3/32"
#14 7/64"

Try de-barbing your hooks before putting the bead on. With some hooks the barb will obstruct the bead from getting around the bend of the hook.
