Bass Pro Shops 7’ 10” Heat Rods

Has anyone handled these new BPS Heat rods? They include an 8wt, 9wt, and 10wt. I’m sure folks who like the other short rods will give the BPS Heat rods a test run. It will be interesting to hear how they compare once they get some reviews. It’s hard to find negative reviews from folks that have tried or own any of the other short rods. At that length, I wonder if Redington produces the rod.

I have the 8 wt on my BPS wish list. They just got them in stock and I've been waiting to read some reviews.

I've been using a G Loomis GL3 8 wt for bass but don't really like it so I thought of going to a shorter rod and the Heat rods from BPS are a dandy price. If I don't go with BPS I'll probably get a Ross Flystik.
