Bamboo Bait Caster

I started finishing another 6’ 3/8 oz bait casting rod. The taper is a Heddon hex that I converted to a quad taper. I have been working on bait casting blanks from left over strips of bamboo (waste not want not). I have 3 more guides to wrap and varnish and a sweep and a small twist to remove but the boy should be happy.

dano. If you have an Edwards bait casting rod I would love to have the numbers. I don’t have many tapers for bait casting rods.
