On the "Car sick fish". More than one marine biologist
has told me that before they put the hatchery fish into a truck they don't feed them for a few days to avoid car sickness. The fish get to the stream/lake, get awakened after the trip and eat anything and everything: sticks, rocks, leaves.... It then takes a week to 10 days for them to disgorge the crap in their insides before they can start to decide what is really edible or not.
