Anybody use Allen Fly reels

im looking to put a allen trout series reel on my 5 wt, anybody use these?

I had one of their alpha 3wt reels. It was a good reel. I am thinking about getting a trout series for my 5wt. Their prices are not to bad. Other reels I am looking at are the Redington Drift, LL Bean Pocket Water, and the Lamson Konic Pro.

I have their Alpha II for steelhead in a 7/8 weight, I like it a lot, not a bad price either.

In have an Allen 5wt and like it alot. It has a smooth drag and retrieves line quickly. for the money i would recommend it. Neat colors too!

I have 3 trout series (one each on 4, 5, and 6 weight rods) and 3 alpha series (one each on 3, 7, and 9 weight rods) reels in service and I like them all. I've been very happy with the quality and value of the Allen reels.

I bought an Allen trout 3/4 as a back up reel to my hatch and I used it on the Delaware this past weekend. It worked very well. It had a smooth drag and handled trout up to 20 inches. A very nice reel for the price.
