Several years ago Talen Energy shut down a very popular stretch (2 miles at least) of the Susquehanna River in York County. Many people believed it would keep fishermen from reporting the fish kills that seem to happen often.

Luckily the Susquehanna RiverKeepers have been keeping track of fish kills.
