Anyone using the new allen alpha 2 reel?? any info about it??

Used Allen reel last weekend. Really nice, as I told you before I know nothing of the drag! ;-)

ordered a 9/10 for some musky and maybe a new switch rod

Just waiting for them to make it in another color before ordering one for my spey rod.

Really don't care for the two-tone look.

If its an improvement over the original alpha (and it probably is) it should be marvelous. My original alpha came off the roof rack in Michigan at 50 mph, skidded to a halt on the pavement, and caught me a king salmon the next day!

Man it is sweet!! Very nice reel ..
