I picked this new book up in the fishing books section at the local Barnes & Noble, thinking it was primarily about fly-fishing. I got fooled. It is primarily about Sautner's renovation of a cabin in the Catskills of New York. It includes many sidelights about the six-foot wide stream running past the cabin and his fishing for its brook trout and occasional rainbow, esp a few that came up from the Delaware.
In addition, he devotes a chapter to his anti-fracking concerns and his delight that NY governor Cuomo banned it in New York state.
As a fishing-related book, it is a fairly good read, esp if you enjoy books centered on cabin renovation. Except for an egregious misuse of the verb forms of lie and lay, it is well written, too.
Not too bad of a book.
