44 Fishing-Themed Christmas Ornaments

It’s getting to that time of the year when you’ll soon be decorating your Christmas tree. So how about decorating your tree with your favorite hobby’s ornaments?

A number of years ago I decorated a small Christmas tree in our home entirely with these ornaments, but I no longer do that. There are 44 of these ornaments in total, including 7 glass ornaments with Royal Coachmen flies in them that my wife and I together made (all are identical except some have red, while others have green, bows).

I’ll sell them for $100, picked up in the Lancaster area, or will ship them for the cost of shipping.

There have been a lot of views of these ornaments, but no real bites so far… so here’s some more picture bait…and hope to catch someone’s eye. (I see a number of these ornaments sell upwards of $10 each online.)

And there’s this hand painted Kathe Wohlfahrt German ornament that sells online for $30.00+. I bet the person who paints the fine detail on these pieces wouldn’t have any trouble tying a #32 dry fly.

I sold about half of these ornaments, including many of the more desirable ones for fly fishermen. However, I still have the glass ball ornaments with the Coachman fly inside, and the hand painted German ornament of a fisherman, pictured above.
