As another great fishing year winds down, the Dauphin County League of Chubsmen will be gathering at a local watering hole to reflect on what went on in 2024, bust each other's chops, play around with some logos for our merch rollout, drink some fine drinks and formulate an agenda for 2025.

All are welcome to join us at The Mill in Hershey tomorrow night 12/4 at 5:45-8.

It should be a good time. Hope that some of you guys can make it out to put a face to a name.

“Dauphin County League of Chubsmen”🤣

The name is down right Regal!!! Lol I have never heard of your organization, is it a fly fishing organization? What do members do?

I’d love it is there was a watering hole near me in Berks Co that served as a regular place to meet up, tie flies and BS with other fly fishermen but hershey is too far a hike for me I’m afraid.

It's just a group of guys that pretend to be more sophisticated than we actually are and have fun with fishing. Gives us another reason to get together and have a good time.

We love to fish for native fish, but also enjoy running into some stockers for the fight.

Mostly just love being knee deep in the water somewhere. Or recently we had a member purchase a flycraft we named "SS ChubTub"

Just for fun and all are welcome. If you have a group of friends up in Berks, start your own chapter. We will gladly share our logo and arrange meetups/fish outings if we are out that way.

“Chub-tub” lol

I also enjoy fishing for non-trout native fish. If I fish for stockers it is more so removing them for community service so to speak. Sounds fun and all. I am out that way to service an account or two for work maybe next time timing will line up.
