Nice!

D- nymph,

Nice catches. Question you mentioned back on post#16 that you was using the sonar titan sinking line 80% most of the time. SA makes many of the sonar titan sinking lines. If I may ask which specific sonar titan sinking line are you using? I've been using the SA full intermediate and mastery titan long floating on my TFO mangrove 8wt. The flies I've been throwing are 5 to 7 inches long and these lines work great on the lakes. I would like to get a sonar titan sinking line to get me down on some of the rivers I am fishing, which type of sonar titan line would you recommend.

Wetfly, it's all very confusing how the maunfacturers label the sink tip/sinking lines. I use the fastest sinking sonar that they offer the sink3/sink5/sink7 in 380 grains for a 10 weight.

You'd want the 280 grains for an 8.

Wow these are some nice fish. I've never caught a musky any way. I've hooked a couple while smallie fishing and managed to get them somewhat close to the boat but that was it. Fantastic catches!

D-nymph,

Thank you for the info on the SA sinking line.
